Just got back from a training session for auctioneers for the Channel 10 auction. (Remember I will be on the air May 6 and May 8th from 6-8 p.m.)

It was a lot of fun and I'm really looking forward to telling everyone what exciting new items are on the "A" table. Be sure to tune into Channel 10, WMVS, starting May 2 for the Great Art Auction. Great items will be available!

I have to admit I'm really enjoying this blogging. Very easy to keep the site up-to-date. I'm actually thinking of moving this to be my new home page. Let me know what you think in the Forum.

By the way, haven't seen much action in the Forum or on the latest poll. Without participation, this is just like my radio show--me talking to myself and hoping someone will listen. This is your opportunity to participate so I urge you to get involved in the fun.

Wow! What a gorgeous day!

As I'm want to do on a day where it is absolutely perfect outside--I went to the movies. There is something wrong with me. (By the way, "Identity" is a great flick!) After the movie, though, I did get to walking around the zoo (which seems to be my Monday tradition) and driving around with the top down on the Red Rocket. I was listening to some music we will be premiering on the show in the coming weeks and I'm pretty excited about it.

Came home and popped open my e-mail and guess what? Carrie Cihasky (a friend of the show and Miss Milwaukee 2002) just won Miss St. Francis 2003. Congratulations and best wishes to her! I'm sure she will do an excellent job representing them as she did Milwaukee last year.

Well, got to run outside and mow that lawn. Looks like it grew 5 inches last night!

Well, ended up not making any of the events. The private event I mentioned in my last post was actually Karen Deglau's surprise birthday party and she was surprised and a half!

I do need reports on the events that happened last night, though, so if you attended please let us know on the forums. My parents went to the Bockbierfest so I'll try to weasel some information out of them as well.

Hope you are all having a great weekend!

Today is an exciting day.

Of course, it is Saturday which means it is show day--and that is always a treat. I put together a good show, got a new tape from Father Langsch with some sermons at the ready and we are going to have a great time.

It would be a great time for you to look over our guestbook. Little assignment for you as you listen to the show.

Then, there is the ridiculous amount of events going on tonight.

Let's see. At Mount Mary college, the Liederkranz have their concert. They have been around for so long they have a special exhibit at the Milwaukee Historical Society. Ought to be cool.

The Spielmannszug is holding their Bock Bier Fest in Hart Park. This is a wild night with lots of people you don't see at other events during the year. (More info in the Forum.) Ought to be a blast!

Then, the Holzhacker have their Stiftungsfest at the Schwabenhof tonight. The admission is free and the music is by Austrian Express. Ought to be a treat.

It's going to be a wild night. Now, me. I have a private event to go to tonight, but I playing with the idea of swinging by the Bock tonight. They get crazier as the night wears on.

Anyway, we'll see how this goes.

If you have comments, as always, just jump on the forum and let us know what you think.
