Our interview with Kevin of "Die Schlauberger" or dSb for short went great. Die Schlauberger will be performing at this year's German Fest. With influences from the Alpine Rock persuasion, they are sure to give the stages at Milwaukee's German Fest a decisionastically fantastic performance.

By the way, decisionastically is not a word. I just made that up.

Hey, some pretty exciting news here. We're hoping to have a member of Schlauberger to come on the show Saturday on the program.

We're hoping it will be an exciting interview! We hope you listen close.

I'm back from Florida.

Most of you probably didn't notice I was gone.

Well, you can't just announce that stuff or things happen to your house. But I'm back safe and sound and will get you details as the next couple days progress.

More later!

I never realized so many people watched the Channel 10 Auction. I've received a number of very nice compliments (and realitively few jaded criticisms) based on my performance last week on the program. I was walking into the grocery store today and an old friend said, "Hey, saw you on the auction."

I'm so glad so many of you were watching and participating in this wonderful event.

BTW, we've gotten lots of feedback on the recent batch of interviews, too. And we thank you all for your feedback. Remember you can vote on what's been most exciting lately on the show by clicking on the poll over there somewhere on the nav bar to the left.

Well, these posts are going to get a little more spotty in the coming weeks with other activities taking my time. (And how am I going to compete with the last 10 days?)

We'd like to thank Jayme, Carrie and Caitlin for their appearances on the show. They clearly made the program more interesting for the past few weeks. We'd also like to thank the Channel 10 Auction for allowing me the opportunity to use my "radio voice" on television.

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope you are all having a great Mother's Day. Be sure to be nice to your mommy.

We've been experiencing some problems with the forum and other Bravenet services this weekend. I'm hoping on Monday they should be solved. Even our main page appears to have an issue, but with the wind out there today perhaps some cable lines are down and may account for the issues. In any event, we apologize about the issues.

Carrie Cihasky - Miss St. Francis 2003Caitlin Morrall - Miss Milwaukee 2003The Stimmung Stunde was so happy with the appearance on May 11 by Carrie Cihasky, Miss St. Francis 2003 (left), and Caitlin Morrall, Miss Milwaukee 2003 (right).

Carrie told us about May being National Asthma Awareness month. Asthma Management is Carrie's platform and she told us all about prevention of this deadly disease. Carrie has been on the show twice already before and can truly be called a friend of the show.

I'm such a lucky guy!Caitlin was a guest for the first time on the program, but we hope it isn't the last. This lovely young lady told us about all the festivals in the area she will be visiting this year. Caitlin is going to Alverno College and a Communications major.

Actually, both were very candid about their German Fest experiences--they ADMITTED that the food is their favorite part of the fest! Carrie will be working as a bartender in the Miller area. That ought to make for some good size lines!

Ken, the engineer, meets Miss Milwaukee and Miss St. FrancisMid-interview, Dr. Deutschen Fest himself, Reinhold Ellermann came in to witness Tim and the ladies dancing the Zillertaler Hochzeitsmarsch down the WEMP hallways. It really happened and he's a witness!

It was a lot of fun and we look forward to the next visit by these lovely ladies and hopefully next time one (or both of them!) will be Miss Wisconsin! The pagent is coming up in June after Father's Day. To learn more about the pagent and how to get tickets, visit the Miss Wisconsin website.

Now I'm getting nervous again.

No, no. Not over the Channel 10 auction. I finished my shifts with that last night. It was a lot of fun and I find myself hoping next year comes around real soon. It was a blast!

No, I'm nervous because two beautiful young women are coming to the show tomorrow and I don't know how we're going to keep the excitement from exploding radios all over the city.

For those of you that haven't been following recent events, Miss St. Francis 2003 Carrie Cihasky and Miss Milwaukee 2003 Caitlin Morrall will be visiting the program tomorrow at 10 a.m. That's just 16 hours away! My goodness!

If you miss this week's show, you shall forever hang your head in shame. I'm serious.

A little better rested now.

Tomorrow (Thursday), I will be on the Channel 10 Auction from 6:00-8:00 p.m. I had a lot of fun yesterday with my stint so I'm really looking forward to this.

Be sure to tune in and don't forget our exciting guests on Saturday's show. Miss St. Francis, Carrie Cihasky, (pictured left), and Miss Milwaukee, Caitlin Morrall will be on our program this Saturday from 10-11 a.m. on WEMP, 1250 AM.

Just got back form the auction. That was a fast 2 hours! Great stuff on sale. Be sure to tune in again Thursday from 6-8 p.m.

Monday, May 05, 2003

Tomorrow I'll be on the Channel 10 auction from 6-8 p.m. Make sure you tune and enjoy my embarrassment.

Big day today at Great America. I got onto Whizzer, Viper, Batman, Raging Bull twice and the Eagle backwards. The lines for the new one, Superman Ultimate Flight, were ridiculous so I had to take a pass, but it looks like the ride that I took in Ohio. Good stuff!

Just got out of the theater and "X2" and it was a great movie. If you liked the first one, I'd say it was on par with it.

Saturday, May 03, 2003

I'm exhausted.

I just got back to the house after an exciting program with Jayme Dawicki, Miss Wisconsin 2002. She was a wonderful and charming guest.

Jayme told us about her music program, STARS, going to the Miss America pageant last September, and some of the hundreds events she's attended with over 20,000 miles of travel around the state. A polite and proud representative from the Dairy state we can all take pride in.

As I write this I'm working on getting the new clip of the week up on the site.

We have confirmation!

As I prepare for today's program with Miss Wisconsin 2003, Jayme Dawicki, I have to tell you we have confirmed two guests for next week's program.

That's right I said two. Well, typed it, anyway.

Carrie Cihasky, Miss St. Francis 2003, and Caitlin Morrall, Miss Milwaukee 2003, will be on the show May 10th. That is the day before Mother's Day, so we will also be featuring great Mother's day music for the program.

This is a great program we have lined up. I have to focus on today's show--but I just couldn't keep this information to myself anymore!!

Friday, May 02, 2003

My excitement just continues to explode because tomorrow, Jayme Dawicki, the beautiful young woman pictured below, will be on our little program. I have an exciting program put together for her and I'm sure she will have lots of great stories for us all about her reign as Miss Wisconsin 2003.

Don't miss tomorrow's show from 10-11 a.m. on WEMP, 1250 AM!

Thursday, May 01, 2003

You ain't gonna believe this!

I got an e-mail from Jayme Dawicki, Miss Wisconsin 2003, and after a little pleading, she agreed to be on this Saturday's program!

I have to get a lot of stuff in place to make sure this goes off without a hitch, but you won't want to miss this very special program. Tune in from 10-11 a.m. on WEMP, 1250 AM!
