JS Online: Try if you will, but they can't be saved: "A 'REALITY' PAGEANT:
That may be what Miss America morphs into as the pageant struggles to find a TV home. None of the networks is interested in it after ABC dumped it this year, thanks to falling ratings.

Pageant president / CEO Art McMaster tells the New York Post that shows introducing the contestants to viewers - complete with behind-the-scenes stuff - could become a part of the competition."

Feller & Feller this Saturday

Whew!

There is a lot of excitement about this weekend's phone interview with Feller & Feller. If you don't believe me, check out our guestbook which has an entry from a young lady that runs a Feller website over in Germany. Our interview page is being BOMBARDED from abroad.

And that rules!

We're so excited and it's all coming this Saturday! To top things off, Marta Kretschmann, our interviewer and lead staff musicologist will personally be selecting the tunes that will be played on the program as she leads the interview.

I can't wait and I hope you are excited, too. Now that more people than ever have German TV pumped into their homes . . . this is going to truly be wonderful. We will have another contemporary German recording artist on the air--this Saturday.

Tune in at ten and never switch the dial again.

JS Online: Super Bowl spotlight dims just a little bit: ". . . . 'The Stimmung Stunde' German music program marks 15 years on the air Saturday morning at 10 on WJYI-AM (1340). The weekly show began life as 'The United Donauschwaben Hour.' . . . "

If you look closely at the Journal-Sentinel, you will see I made it in the column linked above in the "Spinning the Dial" section.

Miss West Allis/Miss New Berlin Pageant

Last night, I had the priveledge of judging the Miss West Allis/Miss New Berlin pageants in West Allis and New Berlin. It was a great honor to participate with so many deserving and wonderful young candidates vying for the prestigious positions.

Only one could win each of the titles, and it is a pleasure to congratulate Marcia Gallo as Miss West Allis 2005 and Tracy Gest as Miss New Berlin 2005. We wish you all the best and know you have a great year. Best of luck to you at Miss Wisconsin!

Here comes the Judge!

This Saturday, along with a great interview and fantastic radio show, I will be judging the Miss New Berlin and Miss West Allis beauty pageants. I've received some information on these young ladies up front and it looks like I'll have my work cut out for me with so many deserving candidates.

The pageant will be held at New Berlin Eisenhower High School and you're all invited to drop by to see this wonderful production.
